So this is the way Tops works.

When you replace your register tape you try to use “coupon tape”. That would be the tape with jiffy lube coupons on the back. I don’t think anyone ever uses it but we print it out for you. I think companies must pay some sort of fee or something I mean the stuff prints out crappy and is prone to ripping.

When we run out of coupon tape you replace with plain label tape. I prefer this on as it prints out clean and clear. It also doesn’t get your hands as dirty from ink.

But today, today, when I ran out plain tape I replaced with, get this, Kmart tape. That’s right printed out on the back of all the receipts was the K-mart return policy.

Don’t know why, don’t know how, and don’t know if anyone but me will notice, but just thought I would let you know.
